Thats a question! People have been struggling...Wow. Thats a question! People have been struggling with that forever.

If you stop and worry and go out grabbing more in life. Not letting this run their course. Not being content and but instead striving for more, fix those borken things, fold those socks, you'll grow, you'll expand. But when will you ever be satisfied? What you have isn't enough once you get there... Things arne't where you want them to be now that you've gotten them there... You're not president, those jeans don't fit yet, that car isn't flashy enough, whatever the case. There is something still to strive for. More 'untidiness'...

Think back to highschool. What did you want back then? I know I wanted a girlfriend (or fiancee as the case may be), a cool job, enough money to buy games, watch movies, have my own place, friends and family. Now, I have it all, why not just sit back and be happy? Why do I want to advance my career, etc etc? Why not sit back and be content. Let life simmer, stop and smell the roses?

Its not human nature! We always want more, there is always more work to do, more things to address, more stuff to acquire? How does society cope with that? What happens when most of the people in a society have very little but the ruling power has so much. When there isn't room for much growth? How do the masses stay content? How do they strive for growth?

Ramblings, thoughts, and history...Terry Shermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06343412190753227985noreply@blogger.com
